I tried this place out yesterday. I must say that this place really is a gem. The service is impecable and the waitress and owner are really nice people and we had a great time. The food is incredible. I am very picky with my Peruvian food, having lived in Peru, and too many restaurants in the US just don’t get it right. However, this place is spot on. I had the Pesto Spaghetti with steak (tallarines verdes) and my friend had the Anticuchos. These dishes were absolutely delicious. The Stuffed Potato I had for an appetizer was spot on and so flavorful with a perfect texture. I look forward to my next visit to try the Ceviche. Also, as I said earlier, the service is impeccable. Our waitress could not have been more friendly and accomodating. We were made to feel so welcomed and this is a rare feeling in so many restaurants now a days. I highly recommend this place!
My wife and I are peruvians and we know the taste of a good ceviche or calamar frito. The lomo saltado is flamed as it should be and the pescado a lo macho delicious as well as the arroz chaufa de mariscos or sea food fried rice. We have been there 4 times and they have very good food for a fair price and the customer service can not be better.
Don’t forget to try the 3 leches cake with pisco and algarrobina you will love it! ohh… I was forgetting the chicha morada is the best in the area as is freshly home made and not too sweet.
So, this place just opened. I love the food. The service was great and the staff made my guests and I feel really welcome. I will be going back to try some other dishes. They have this purple drink that was made with fruit. It was good.
